Digital Youth Divas
Digital Youth Divas Brings STEAM to Life
Digital Youth Divas is an out-of-school program for girls in grades 4-8 and designed particularly with Black and Latinx girls in mind. Divas engage in design-based STEM activities driven by narrative stories and their own interests.
The program supports the development of STEM identities by providing face-to-face and online spaces to design, create, and re-imagine the world through techniques like collaboration and critique, and activities like circuitry, coding, and fabrication.

Our Divas Home Base
Home base is the group for all Divas to join! Here, you will get to see what all your fellow Divas are working on, and get important information about the program. Here, you'll find Freedom Friday showcases, and you can also join drop-in sessions on Wednesdays to get additional support. You can always come Home!
First Year Divas
Is this your first time as a Diva? Then this is the group for you! First Year Divas meet on Saturdays to do workshops and learn about STEAM and grow together. Get started and find your STEAM self in First Year Divas!
Continuing Divas
Have you been a Diva before? Then this is the group for you! Continuing Divas get to do special projects in this group -- some are on-your-own-time, and some meet on Saturday mornings. Continuing Divas also take part in Affinity Circles that meet Tuesdays and Saturday afternoons about STEAM identity and interests. Each Continuing Diva should join at least one Affinity Circle. Show us your stuff and level up in the Continuing Divas group!

Don't forget, there are ways for all Divas to come together, too! Every other Friday, we will celebrate accomplishments in Freedom Friday showcases. Also, all Divas will be expected to work on coding projects - drop-in for more support on Saturday afternoons! You can learn more and get the details in the Divas: Home Base group.

Join the Divas Caring Adult Network!
Divas Caring Adult Network (CAN) is a community made just for the adult champions in our Divas lives. It's our way to connect families and communities to the learning environments in which their children are immersed and a way to recognize and leverage existing networks, histories, cultures, and expertise found in your unique communities.
We ask you to create a STEAMville account and join our CAN Group to engage in STEAM content and resources that will help build your capacity and uplift your voice. Get access to interactive workshops, CAN-led community family engagement forums, adult social events, STEAM activities, our Parent Portal, and more!
