What is STEAMville? Powered by Northwestern University’s Digital Youth Network and Office of Community Education Partnerships (OCEP), STEAMVILLE is a community where youth discover, develop and showcase their STEAM interests and identities while building community with one another, nurtured by a village of parents, educators, coaches, and mentors.
On STEAMville youth participate in virtual, private learning communities. Youth explore and play, create and develop skills, and think about social impact through coding, digital making, and engineering design, for example. Through STEAMville, youth develop and grow their own interests and passions, learn to problem solve and collaborate with others, and gain experience in working in an online environment.
It takes a village and we are proud to have a village of partners working with us to create a connected landscape of online STEAM opportunities.
